Gen 3 pro question

I have a 90 gallon 48x18x25 mixed reef set up. I am currently using an old coral life lighting fixture....2 mh 150 watts and 2 96 watt power compact bulbs. I am wanting to make the switch but, would i be able to get away with 1 gen 3 pro unit with wide angle lens hanging about 4 inches from surface water to do i need 2 units? My canopy wasn't built like it should have been. It opens from the top to feed so i will need to drill though the top to hang it from underneath the canopy.

I would consider 2 gen 3, u could get away with two gen 2 and save some money, one gen 3 is like a 4 cylinder in a SUV.

You will need 2 Radions for a 48" long tank.

IMO 4" is way to close.

like danger to your fish and fixture close. I get it though, it must be in a canopy? If so, i'd look at cutting holes out and having them sitting on top of the canopy, so you can get some more spread.
