Yep, I agree. His primary product is the GEO calcium reactor and kalk reactor.
I don't think he'll have to worry about people waiting in line for the superior products that he makes.

sorry, but nobody likes to wait in line. Or even worse wait 3 weeks for a response that says nothing. Him not getting back to me was probably best. I love the H&S skimmer I got instead and the service is amazing.

Darn, does this mean that you'll be posting in the H&S Club thread instead of this one:wavehand:

skimmer

skimmer

check your pm cward...

i dont need the skimmer THAT soon..maybe within a few months.. but still, would like idea of cost, etc..if it costs same as an H&S or Deltec, I'd just go with those..

(ghever) I'm sorry, I didn't mean I was selling mine. I was just going to keep an eye out for one for you.

(RGibson) I know.

Well, actually there are some that do. They want to buy Bubble Kings.

What say we drop the nit-picking.

I will wait for a quality product no problem. Quality service I will not wait for. 3 weeks to email me back a non quote saying he is no longer making skimmers is insaine.

Cward- you are a real mature person! And yes I am a happy new member of the h&S club! If you don't like most posts hit the ignor button instead of being obnoxious.:hmm5:

You were already bashing him in this thread after only a couple days of waiting for a response. I'm sure he follows this thread and that probably had something to do with why he didn't bother responding to you for 3 weeks.

not the case no idea why you think you know how it went down at all? You have no idea why he didn't respond, or when I first requested a quote.

Good luck to you all I am done in this form. Rc in general used to be a friendly helpful place where people could freely talk about good/bad experiences. Now with all these "cult like" posters jumping down people's throats the threads are 30 pages with no info. Nice work... a guess thats why many knowledgeable people have left RC? how many of your 4000 post were to help people and how many to bash?

If your still around...

It's not really like you said it, bug. It is just some may feel that your negative posts really do not belong in this thread. That is why you sense animosity from other members.

Vendor feedback would be the perfect place for your dissapointments.

Got my Kalk reactor and Calcium reactor a few weeks ago. I am yet to put togther the Ca reactor. I have been very pleased with the kalk reactor and prompt responses by Geo so far.

Can I pop in here with a GEO skimmer question? I have one of the older 828 models. It runs off a sedra 9, has a 13" footprint, has a 17" tall chamber and is 27" to the top of the collection cup. Do you guys think it would be sufficent for the 250 gal I am setting up? The performance it gave me in my 90gal was fantastic but I am afraid it might be a bit undersized for the new tank.

Thanks,

Marc

Rocky,

I'm not sure if undersized would be the term I would use. I would say that the skimmer has been surpassed by better technology.

If you are asking, you might as well update. You'll feel better about it. Reassurance is everything.

Is anyone using a GEO kalk reactor with the tunze osmolator? If so, are you having any problems. I thought I read something about the backpressure being too much for the little tunze pump to take. Any firsthand experiences from users would be appreciated. Thanks.
