Geovit

I think the product is called Geovit. I wanted to know if anyone uses this in reef tanks and what the benifits would be?

I tried searching "Geovit" on the Tunze site and nothing was found. Do you mean "Zeolith"?

I was thinking the same- is it Zeolith that you are wanting to know about?

Im sorry the product is Granovit Bio-Granulat.

Oh, that is a sintered clay and it functions as a denitrating media when used in a deep bed. I use it in my aquariums but I doubt it would work very well outside of Tunze filters, it is fairly fine and pre filtered water is very slowly percolated over it, in most filters I think it would just clog.
