getting 7092 to "Pulse Power"

Roger,

I can't seem to get the controller to Pulse Power. The directions read to hold the "+" sign until the Pulse feature is activated. I am running 2 6055's as you recommended for my 90 gallon.

I hold the plus sign for at least 30 seconds... nothing.
I push the plus sign at least 50 times consecutively and it stays in the wave mode.
I have tried it with food timer on and off in case that might be it.

Your help would be appreciated. I would really like the pumps to alternate closer to the 10 second mark.

Thanks.

Mark,

Thanks for the help. I had not moved it to the center pin but have now. Still, I cannot get the pulse light to light up, nor can I even get the span between switching between the 2 pumps to increase. I am wondering if my + button may not work correctly. Not sure what else to do, except lean on RC for an answer:)

Additionally, I have to push my food button several times to get it to stop the pumps. Sometimes I hold it, sometimes i push it a bunch of times... not sure which one is the way that works.

Make sure that cover is secure after opening it, it could be the buttons underneath are no longer in contact with the keypad, for example the pump cables are in the way and it is not completely screwed closed. You are doing everything correctly. In general holding the + button for 30 seconds or so should advance it to Pulse mode.

Thanks Roger. While the cover appeared to be re-closed and secured tightly, I opened it and double checked to make sure that the wires weren't blocking the depression action of the buttons. I have held the plus sign for over a minute and the pulse light still doesn't come on. It does however appear to be about 2 sec apart, as the switching light indicates and the "wavebox" light stays on. (I don't have a wavebox if that matters).

I just can't seem to get it over the 2 sec mark and trigger the pulse light, hence the longer span btwn the switching of the pumps. The pumps are alternating since I moved the jump switch though, which is good.
