I am setting up my 175 bowfront tank after a few years off...

What is a good setup for Tangs?

I had 6 in my last setup and never really had any problems but want to make sure if I mix species they will be ok.

That is a good list. I think I might have some problems as my tank is only 175 gallons.

My question is can I mix tangs together and which ones?

I know in the past I had:

1 - yellow
1 - pacific blue
1 - purple
1 - naso

These seemed to get along pretty well and never had any issues with fighting.

I just kind of wanted to see if I could add some additional species without fights.

Be cautious with the yellow and purple tang together as they are from the same family. if you do get a purple, I would make sure it is the last fish you plan on putting into your tank.
