Getting better but not there

Been shooting macro a couple days now. Nikon d90 105mm f2.8. My pics are getting better but not what I would call good. How do you get your colors to pop so vividly under 20k radiums. Do you set white balance or use auto and adjust in Elements 7? Any other tips or suggestions. Couple pics from today.

The green tabling especially does not looks as vivid and neon as it does visually.

you will have to manually adjust white balance if you want to get rid of the blue caste. You can do that in Elements- I usually keep my w/b on auto and then adjust in Camera Raw - shooting in RAW format if you arent already will allow for more/better post processing options.
