I would like to get an anemone for my tank 29g biocube I have 2 snowflake clowns already tank has been running for 3 months. Like to find something they may hoste and good for a newbie haha. Any ideas?
Before jumping into an anemone why not try housing a frogspawn LPS? Some clowns are known to host them and they are very hardy corals, plus they require low maintenance as well just give them a good light spot and low flow water.
I just picked up a frogspawn (got it for free from my LFS) when matured and grown people who aren't in the hobby don't know the difference. Or you could try a torch coral.
Besides most people recommend 6-12 months before adding in an anemone.
Do a search for anenome and clowns. The anemone are very picky and like a mature tank with stable parameters. They are expensive to lose from experience. You might try a cheaper softy like a hammer coral. How stable are your parameters. Do you have live rock, a sump etc. We could use more information to help you.:spin3:
its a biocube I have a refug in the back , running a media basket the para have been stable for a while . Have a few zoas that have been doing good with a small torch that has aslo been doing good.
