Getting Out - WTS Corals

I'll PM my address/contact info out to all buyers sometime mid next week. For now you can look at the link on the first post for my general location.

Some more rules. Sorry
- I only take Cash
- Please bring exact cash
- All sales final
- If you come to pick something up and don't like the way it looks don't take it, my feelings won't be hurt. I don't want you PMing me a few days later when your unhappy with it.
- If you have a container bring it. Otherwise you may be taking your new treasure home in a ziploc bag.

For all of you that keep PMing me, you have to post in the thread to reserve a coral.

I'll take the other monti cap and the sinularia leather. Add possibly the large ridge coral (but you have to tell me how big it actaully is). And can I pick up before next saturday?

By "other monti cap", do you mean the parent piece of capricornis that is growing on the overflow box, or do you mean the green monti confusa?

As far as the large ridge coral see this image for the size of the large ridge coral in relation to a 4' long tank. The large ridge coral is on the right side of the tank above the large sinularia. I'd say it's probably 4-5".

I'll take it...and I meant the one attached to the overflow (if we can break it off with out too much damage). If it breaks, I'll get some tissue and we can mourn with some tissue, Bon bons, and your best Michael Bolton vinyl.
Maybe Friday night or saturday, otherwise Oct 7 would be ok.
 
Ok, to be fair here, ®eefer you get the Capriconis and siggiesd will get the Ridge coral.

siggiesd's "I would like to reserve it" beats ®eefer's "possibly the large ridge coral" Additionally siggiesd had PMed me prior. So here is the new list, and ®eefer, if you want the Large Sinularia let me know.

Ya know when people call dibbs on stuff it kinda discourages others from buying your stuff and its worse when the people dont follow through and your left with stuff....just my $.02

People have been trying to call dibs for over a week now, and I have been telling them no dibs, wait until the stuff is for sale.

Now that the stuff is for sale, you're saying the first person to offer to buy shouldn't get the product?

I think first come first serve is the fairest way to go. You disagree?

No, I agree! first come first serve. From my point of view everything is sold already( or spoken for). You may find that some of the people will not show up and buy what they said they would and you will have to repost and repost again. Maybe if you had a specific time to be at your house, you could get rid of everything and take care of it all at once. probably too late for this thread though.

I can see your point. Maybe I was naive, but I hadn't considered the possibility that someone would ask for an item and back out.

I will have to consider that now.

If anyone falls through I will simply return the item to available status and anyone can ask for it again.

The reason I didn't want to just open my house up for a day was that people would come and maybe the item they were interested in was already sold.

This way its very clear what is available and what is not. I've also seen people get into bidding wars when it isn't clear who the item is going to. I just wanted to avoid all that mess, though maybe I've just made it worse.

I apolgoize. I've never done this before.

yes i agree with Sam, I want a few pieces and willing to drive 60 miles one way and pick them up and if some pieces are reserved and the person doesn't show then I would have to drive another 120 miles to pick up.
BTW you have some very nice coral but all some of the ones i want are reserve but if you choose to do it a different way i can be there saturday morning
