There have been living together for 2 years with yellow and coral beauty added last 4 months ago. No aggression what so ever all eating. They been good boys. One more week they all go into my 265.

Just don't understand when people say clowns are mean. Mind never chase anyone

When we bought this house 11 years ago we did not sell our old place right away because this house was a Foreclosure.Needed a lot of work before we could move in..
So we bought and installed a new tank got it up and running the slowly migrated stuff over.. we lived about 10 minutes away .. Were there 18 years .
The tank was the easiest part of the move.We still have stuff here in boxes from moving here..

Grrrrrrrr MOVING Sucks for sure.

Congrats on the house if you can take your time and do it slowly..
We paid our mortgage off first of the year and are NOT moving ever again . I HOPE ..

Congrats on paying off your mortgage. Now you can spend it on fish and corals

congrats on the mortgage.... like Anthony said more fish money :D...

I can kind of move stuff over slowly but the tank has to be set up right away. unfortunately I don't have the room for 180 pounds of live rock sitting somewhere

I had a Rubber maid stock tank and a 120 aquarium that I used to house my rock and live stock until I got my main tank running. Worked out well, make sure you have them set up and running for 24 hours to make sure there are no problems and keep a lid on any with fish!!!

Seems like everyone on here is getting a new house and moving a tank. Too bad we don't all live in the same city to help move each other's tanks lol. It would be a lot easier if I had people that knew what to do to help move a tank compared to all my non reefer friends.

I bought a house after 2 years of apartment living. Bought a 180 from craigslist that was up and running. Paid more than most on craigslist but the tank was well maintained and everything healthy. I told him I'd give him full price if he helped move. Took us 17 hours, what a pain. His truck broke down on the way so that added to the misery. But after 2 years of no aquarium I am happy to be back at it.

As far as clown aggression, I have two black clowns that have never bothered another fish but bite my hands no matter what part of the tank I reach in. Guess they don't like me.

Mine doesn't chase anything. Not even me. Maybe I got hippie clowns. :). Only 2 times did my fish show an aggression. My kole tang chased my coral beauty around for about 2 weeks. And my smaller clown chased my baby hippo tang around for a month. But it was never violent never saw marks in fish. Just chased them back into rocks
