getting the AQIII pro online??

I am just curious as to why anyone would want "guest" access to their controller. I see this as a possible security issue. If you want "guests" to just see the data on the controller, it would be much safer to make webpages that pull the information instead.

No, it just pulled up the website Chris's real time reef or something like that. If you clicked on status it asked for a login name. But a good thing about guest is you could temp. have someone help you set something up or program something you were having a hard time with. Then change the guest password after otherwise you would have to keep changing your own password each time. I try to keep mine the same or at least one of a half dozen ones I use.

DHCP doesn't work too well for a server. I think that we'll get just as many support calls/questions because the IP address of the AquaController will change because the DHCP server gives a different address. You can get around this by configuring the DHCP server to lock the IP address to a Mac addresses, but this is something that the user has to configure as well.
