If your phosphates are low GFO may not be needed, I dose a mixture of carbons as well, and I do like GFO as it brings it down very low even with my heavy feedings of frozen food. Mine is .02 on old school hanna meter and it runs around .04 or .06 without GFO. My nitrates are staying below 2 even with coral foods and amino. Sounds like your coral should start to color up more as they adjust to the new light. I saw all the work you put into the light, impressive.
