GFO (think PhosBan) Bulk Order!!!

Mike,

You're running for BOG. Don't you know candidates are supposed to make EMPTY promises. I really question your candidacy now... ;)

Well I try to live the IT consultant's creed - "Over promise, and under deliver"... oh wait, I think that might not be right. :)

Today is not good for me. I get out of work at noon tomorrow and can pick up then ( I have a truck ). I'll take it wherever you want, Mike (your house, Steve's or mine). I'm not quite sure how we will get it in the truck, though. We will probably need to transfer it to several 5g buckets for transport. Mike, do you have any spare buckets for this? I only have one, but I will bring it and some kind of scoop. Mike, I've pm'd you my cell #.

RE Payment: Unless there is objection, lets take cash payment at the meeting at the time of distribution.

This would work great for me if it is ok. Thanks for all of your guys work.

If there is still some not spoken for I would like 2 pounds, and I can pay cash at the meeting.

If there is not enough to go around... I still want to say thanks for the hard work and I will get in next time.

Auntbeez, there should be PLENTY.

It's HERE!!!!!

wow, that has very small grains for not being "granulated" feric oxide. I was a little worried it was going to be like koi food size, but that is sweet :D. Almost looks like phosban. Cant wait to pick mine up. So should i come to yer house steve or are you and mark bringing it to the meet? Whatever works the easyest.

I was wondering if we should consider paying a little extra to help cover any loss due to spillage? Maybe everyone can add 10-15% and then round up to the nearest dollar to help cover any lost. Even at that price, we are getting a GREAT deal! Any "profit" can go back into Mike's research. Just a thought.

Justin, Nope no break.. Just poor packaging. They did not seal the top of the bag in the barrel, and I guess expected it to stay upright during shipping.. heheh so much for that!!

Bobby, yeah I was worried about the pellets too, and this stuff is so fine for pellets, I think it will be PERFECT!! I had the same fear as you... But it looks spot on..

I'll let Mike chime in on that one Mihn..
There should not be too much lost to spillage because the can was sealed and all that on the top will just be at the bottom of the barrel when we get down that far..

Packing party tomorrow!!! :)

Also Bobby, not sure where it will be stored till the meeting so if it's stored somewhere else other than my house, would you like your order to be kept at my place for local pickup, BEFORE the meeting?

Well loading it into the truck I turned it on its side and rolled it - I think that's how some of the stuff on top found a way out. No worries though, when a good chunk of its bagged up, there will be plenty of extra at the bottom. Kinda like the 'bag' fries you get at the fast food places... little gems in the bottom of the bag are the best!

Being an advent user of Phosban, I can tell you after I inspected the pellets, this is exactly the same stuff that we are paying tons of $$$ for. The pellets are very small and have the advantage of not being too fine of a granule where it would be carried back into your tank. I think you all will be very pleased with this product and its phosphate removal capabilities.

So Steve, she's all yours (and co) to bag up as you see fit. Whenever you are done, I will just take the rest for my operations, but feel free to bag up as much as you want/need. I will not be using it en masse anytime soon, so take your time. Also, please be sure to track all your costs as I did factor that into the price/lb. I can pay you in rust if you are so inclined for the bags and all... ha! :D

P.S. About the donations, I really do appreciate it, but I am still finalizing the tax exempt status of the org with the IRS, so any extra $$$ at this time would probably cause more problems than it would do good. I do appreciate the thought though! Ya'll have fun with your bag party tomorrow!

The deed is done!!

101 lbs packaged for all you refers out there with more to spare if needed..
Pick up and payment can be done at the meeting..

Special Thanks to Mike and Mark!!!

Thanks Mark, Mike, Steve and anyone else involved. Can you tell me how much it is per pound? I will try to bring exact change. :D

OK., when's the meeting? The MARS website is down.

Also, is it possible to do a pick up before the meeting?

Thanks,

James
