Okay guys, so you were right, the tank is too ghetto, im starting to get serious flack over the tank, the next hood has got to happen this weekend! Time to make some LED drivers from scratch

OK I will Play... My way to hang lights.... I think this qualfies
I bought the brackets which are used in closets
First i used a 2 foot section of 2 inch exhaust Pipe Painted with Black brake caliper paint with plastic end caps I then used zip ties...

Then i decided (Girl Friend) that was ugly so i used small chain used for hanging light fixtures from the ceiling And drilled small holes into my fixture and put eye hooks ...

Noobtosalty, looks a little too good to be ghetto. If you want a "ghetto look" you will need to let the brackets rust a bit, leave the muffler on the exausy pipe, and have at least one exposed electrical wire. Oh, and some duct tape. Lol

Im pretty OCD about whats in my tank, my params are sitting nicely, plenty of growth and pods etc, its just the rest of the tank thats a bit ghetto!

You know, until I realized SOMEONE forgot to drill holes for the airlines, buy a big enough air pump OR do the plumbing to get the return to run to the back of the tank and had to cut the corner of the hood off...

Yeah, that's right a 3 gallon skimmer on a 10 gallon FOWLR :lmao::lmao:

The 10 gallon is just the first of many tanks in upcoming epic build...all ghetto, ofcourse

Well, I guess this is ghetto, since the light's on the right and left cost $400 each and the center halide is suspended on a piece of leftover plywood.

Got lots of great ideas from this...been so long since I had a set up I forgot what some of the things are that some of you made. Do L.E.D lights help with growth? Or are they just for looks? I remember getting them back when they called them Moon lights..that was when they first came out. A lot sure has changed..
