Hmmmm... I just had a wonderfull DIY thought on this topic.

If you used a series of several venturis, connected to Solenoids that you could control by a Profilux Powerbar mounted externally to the fridge, you could in theory use the venturi effect to syphon your foods through the venturis when the solenoids opened.

This wouldnt invalidate any warranties ;-)

Now that I have said this.. I know what I have to build.. lol... I should even be able to incorporate this into a feed culturing station.

I dont think you need any of that - think about it for the food to get to the tank from the fridge the tubes have to leave the fridge so why at any point does the doser have to be in the fridge, instead have the containers in the fridge and the doser on the outside sucking the food out, through the doser and onto the tank, this is no different than me having my doser feed my system with the balling method from chambers under the tank.

The tubes never leave the fridge at all, thats what makes this feeder very clever. The plumbing for the tank runs through the fridge. However, I do share your concern about the longevity of the equipment in this rig.
