We are pleased to announce as of january 09 we will be introducing the fully dimmable plug and play GHL T5 pendant lighting.

This will be available in ALL wattages up to 80w (8 tube) and can be custom ordered in varying colours. (picture to follow)

This is the news so many have been waiting for and again propels GHL further into the North American market offering its users exactly what they have been asking for, for so long

Of course coming from GHL the quality is without compromise.

Prices and pictures to follow within two weeks.

We are then also working on another lamp that we hope will be an amalgamation between GHL and fauna as recently mentioned on this forum also.

The news that so many have been waiting for is finally here ;)

We are just in the final process of getting these babies organised

Oh just to make your choice harder there will be two styles :)

Not long now ;)

GHL is making them, and fauna marin also are bringing one out.

Some non technical details may push back our launch but I hope not by much, will keep you posted

A T-5 MH fixture would be ideal for alot of others. I love my sfiligoi, but would switch if there was a ghl equal!

Any updates with this?

Few questions:
1. Will this have individual reflectors for each bulb?
2. Will it have fans incorporated into the fixture?
3. How many dimming channels for say a 6 bulb fixture?
4. Will pre-ordering be available?

Ok update

Light switching - planned that you can control every pair.

Sizes are planned to be -
24 Watt = 650 mm
39 Watt = 950 mm
54 Watt = 1250 mm
80 Watt = 1550 mm

Standard - width with 6 tube units will be 395mm then add a further 100mm per extra tube.

We have chosen as retail standard the following

24w = 6 tube
39w = 8 tube
54w = 10 tube
80w = 10 tube

Anyone wanting different than the retail standard is no trouble but falls into custom order with approx 6 week delivery

There will be an option to purchase the GHL Light II controller with interface with the dimming light units for those who dont have a GHL at a special reduced price, this will give you full light control and climate moon phasing as well as temp control and Tunze stream control as well So we are working on some very advanced lighting packages for everyone.

lamps will come with control module so there will be only one power line coming out of the module, unlike other Fixtures that have 2 or more and maybe a DC line also

ALL lamps will come with LED moon lights installed, when the lamps go off the moon lights come on.

Dimming - To begin with 24w 39w and 54w will be made available in dimming, the dimming will be controlled by GHL ProfiLux, the ProfiLux simply plugs into the control module of the lamp fixture. 80w dimming will follow on possibly in February

The fixtures will be slightly wider than originally planned to incorporate the latest additions

Later next year there will be further advances in the dimming options

Availability - orders can be taken from late December for first wave shipping in late january, from then on there will be steady supply.

This is a fauna Marin Fixture but planned to incorporate much of GHL dimming technology for the dimmable fixtures making seemless control simple

Thats it for now but i am sure you will agree this fixture is turning out to be hard to beat

Can't Wait!

"Later next year there will be further advances in the dimming options"

Does that mean that those who will buy the first iteration of these fixtures will miss out?

How will these connect to the Profilux? Is it using the serial cable? or will 1-10v cables/ports needed?

On custom orders can the standard moonlights be discarded for user who have simuleds? was there any plans to incorporate the simuleds at all?

Hi

it will be 1-10V interface

Custom orders can be anything you want within reason.

No plans to incorporate the simu's as yet and not discussed, this would require a lot of agreement between the parties.

Never say never but not right now

So being a 1-10v interface does this mean a six tube light with moonlight would require 4 channels, four cables, two splitters and two ports?

and four what I want: 8 tube and use my two simu spots.

I would use 6 channels, 6 cables, 3 splitters, three ports
