GHL Mitras Club

The tank will be 48"x27"x18. Same tank I have now just 4" taller and starphire glass instead of acrylic.

I know Rodney is kinda an expert on these and i trust him 100% but after getting mine just my $.02........

YOU DONT NEED 3 lol

I just got my tank setup and the lights mounted and i have 2 on a 50x36x30 and there is NO shadowing effect where i cant place SPS......These things are CRAZY bright!!!!!

I will post pictures when i get around to taking them but i have been in this hobby for 7 years and these are my first LED fixtures and i will NEVER go back to anything else!

I ran mine like this

Only 2 are require. I have one on 36x32x24 and have serious light over spill unless it is mounted less than 10" and with only 18" of depth you can run this high up

I am thinking about getting the mitras for my fowlr that is 96x33x25 but I am uncertain as to how many I will need. I see that people are using one for a 36" tank so I am guessing I couldn't get by with two could i ? Do I really want to send $3600 on three units that I will probably need? I don't know, they are really nice and I guess if I ever decide to sell them later they would hold their value for a while anyway. Thoughts?

You will need 3 for a 96" tank. If you go with 2 hang 'em high and run at 100%.

I was trying to get away with using one light on my tank by running it on 100% and hanging it higher.
Theese lights are way to powerful to do this with IMO.
Any SPS directly under my units were fried.
I have now ordered a second unit so I can get the spread I need and be able to run them at a much lower %

Where is the best place to Order some of these? I have a 60g cube build coming up and so far I have been set on the Radion Pro. Can someone Pm me a trustworthy seller that can ship to Canada? All I'm able to find online is just reviews >.<

I just got them set up and i used Rodney's base map to start out with and made little adjustments from there and i can now say i have never EVER been happier with lights for my tank. Granted i have yet to put anything in the tank, but from the very beginning i can tell these lights are just different!

I will be doing a whole write up on my tank when i get the time! lol

Tank is 50 x 36 x 30 and two Mitras are MORE then enough!

You can definitely get away with using two over the 48 and still get results. I would still use three to get a more even coverage across the tank this will give very little PAR drop off between the lamps
