GHL Mitras Club

greetings to all. wear mitres with screens 6100, since February but tube filamentous algae plague which ended with all my corals and I have not been able to take advantage of the screens.

I wonder if the 6200 configurations are compatible with the 6100. And if anyone can send me some settings that have been successful with sps. greetings.

My experience is that, no they are not compatible. They will work, but you won't get the same color temperature or intensity since the channels are different on the 6200 compared to the 6100.

Which programs are you looking for? 6100 or 6200? I have some for the 6100 that work well. If they are what you are looking for, PM me your email address and I will send them to you.

AQD_ottawa,

Any progress with GHL on a central repository for Mitras projects? It was something I asked about some time ago and was told it was in the works, but I haven't seen any updates.

Also, is GHL going to continue to sell the 6100, or will they only be continuing with the 6200?

Thanks!

Don

No we (GHLNA) canned this due to risk of virus transmission, other options are being considered by me personally.

I am not sure of GHL Germany plans

I had the pleasure of seeing a Mitras in person at my LFS two days ago. It was the first time I saw the Mitras and was pleasantly surprised. I've seen Sols, Radions etc, but this was different.

It was so much like Metal Halide it was unbelievable. Also, I couldnt see dancing colours on the sand either. The colour mix is excellent.

If anyone is seriously considering swapping over to full LED, go see one in person.

I had a friend visit yesterday, he said he's going to invest in a couple after Christmas as he was that impressed with how they have performed. He saw the tank about 3 months ago.

Aaron, where in the UK do you live? Dont need to be too specific...I would love to see your tank in person. I live in Central London. I saw the Mitras at H20 recently, but Jon wasnt there, so I couldnt see any of the individual channel settings etc.
