While I took these screenshots the sensor was not touching water. I rebooted the controller and it made no difference. I made 100% sure the mini-din was connected in the proper port.
I am using the dosing pump#1 to top-off RO/DI water.
I justed noticed mine stopped working today havent done anything different to the controller for a long time just stopped out of nowhere? Why did this happen does the eye have to get cleaned??
there is one method to check if the sensor is working or not:
watch "current sensor states" (either in ProfiLuxControl or on the device directly - menu diagnosis) and put the sensor into the water and lit it again manually
if the displayed states don't show te expected result then it is possible that the sensor is damaged - in this case contaxct your retailer
using a socket state to determine if a sensor is defective or OK is NOT making sense because other settings (like timeout) may influence the socket state!
While testing, I found that if my optical sensor was very close to the bottom of the tank, it "reflected itself" for lack of a better term and would stop working. Once I lifted it a half inch or so it was fine.
