Question 1: sorry if it sounds dumb, but I wanted to purchase 3 mitras, I know 6100hv has been "upgraded" to the 6200hv, but my question is: like radions that go from gen1-gen3 now, I was wondering if I should be concern about buying the mitras today, and then a few months from now, mitras will be released with gen2 mitras and my lights would be obsolete technology and I would regret that I don't have the "newest" light. Is there any worries as to mitras 6100/6200 being discontinued and replaced by a newer mitras style?
Question2: are the 6200 the newer generation of the 6100? Did the 6100 get replaced by the 6200, or are they both available and are current models just different "spectrum" for more choices to consumers?
Thanks!!!

Hi
You have absolute no concerns, the Mitras was designed pretty much way ahead of its time, for example still the only lamp that has linear dimming technology that I know of.

The 6200 is not a replacement to the 6100 or an upgrade its just a different spectrum, having more blue that is favoured in North America where as in Europe a more natural tone is favoured. That being said with tweaking it is not hard to match either or.

The 6200 in North America fast became the mainstay choice and so the 6100 for this market is now a special order. Both units are current models.
