GHL Temperature Probes

Hey,

Looking for 2 Temperature probes. Need them shipped to Canada ASAP.

Let me know if you can help. Its been impossible trying to track them down.

There are no stores in the US that have a temp probe in stock?

When are they getting there US warehouse open? Getting kinda ridiculous that I can't find a damn temperature probe.
 
GHL is doing itself some incredible damage here.
Matthias you need to communicate what is happening and when people can expect a firm resolution.
If I was buying new right now, I would be choosing a competitor as I expect full service if spending that sort of money.
 
once stock gets here ( I was told 4-6weeks) we have a dedicated website all set already to cater for all requests for products. As we are no longer able to distribute to retailers we can not bring in the large quantities needed to make air shipments cheap enough so just as with other retailers we must be patient and wait for GHL to fill their own new warehouse in the USA.

We have in our warehouse an array of GHL accessories including most probes just sadly not a temperature probe as our research centre clients cleared us out last month. :-((

Couldn't agree more. Its disgusting. If I didn't already have 5K invested in the controller it would be in the garbage can. Always excuses for the parts, GHL needs to suck up the damn air freight cost and get the supplies in stock in NORTH AMERICA!!!!

how much money does it cost to ship a small temperature probe from Germany? Is it worth ****ing off customers?

I should add that I have even email GHL and they can't even be bothered to send me a response. Ready to pull my hair out at this point....whatever is left of it
 
Not trying to justify it but this is common with almost all oversea high end vendors in this hobby. They have all had issues except only one I can think of. This a major problem and some of these vendors can pull full support or even be gone in a heart beat and you are stuck with a expensive piece of junk if you have a problem. . Dollar is on the rise and they are all tripping over themselves right now to get better support and supply here.....

Anyone that emails me as always will get a reply within a few hours this has not changed even though As I said we are no longer the distributors so if you can't reach GHL in Germany please email me we will do what we can to assist. We are also still available for support. I promised everyone I would not just leave you after 8 years of distributing GHL

However not being in the distribution loop and GHL doing this directly now does mean we have absolute no control now of stock availability we simply are a retailer now which of course does have a lot of surplus stock left just not a temp probe for reasons explained above. our USA warehouse is still fully functional and will remain so.

The NEW GHL USA I was told would have stock in 6 weeks.

I simply do not have enough retail orders to make an air shipment viable from Germany and I am confident GHL will be back up to speed soon for all of US.

Can you go to the GHL website shop and purchase from there. Then get it airmailed and it should be no more than a week, if that.

Yeah Michael, you have done an excellent job.

Shame GHL cannot run their own supply system they announced 2 months ago, and now another 6 weeks (Maybe).

I guess this is my only option.

Michael I am not blaming you for the shortcoming, this is beyond your control. I have been speaking to you for over a few months now regarding these probes, this hasn't been a recent request.

I have been hearing 6 weeks for months, again not your fault but it would be nice to actually here from Mathias on this issue.

The transition process has been amateur at best and this company's reputation in N. America for aquarium service is taking a huge beating, never in my years working have I experienced such a stupid move as GHL has done. You cannot leave your end users with no access to products that is completely unacceptable! The cost of alienating your N. American clients over some excess freight charges is a stupid, unfounded decision.

I tell everyone who purchases corals at my store to NEVER by a GHL product, they simply dont care about there customers

Ok email luke@premiumaquatics.com we sent him two back in January, its worth a shot! I hope premium continue to support GHL also!

On a positive note, once GHL are up and running we will have www.aquariumelectronics.com (live but still being built) fully stocked though their USA warehoused inventory so all this will be a past issue, you will have access to our 7 day a week support also!

I think this is just teething pains, hold in there guys I am ;)
