GHL USA Sales/Support: Introducing myself

Hi everyone,

I just want to introduce myself to the GHL community.

My name is Vinny, I've been an avid hobbyist for over 13 years and have been part of the ReefCentral community for almost that long; my original RC handle is: ReefRockerLive

Feel free to check out my build thread. :)

My exposure to GHL began 9 years ago when I bought a P2 for my 75g SPS tank. It wasn't long before I came to the conclusion that I found the right controller to run my tank. As time went on, I've purchased other products such as P3eX, Gen 1 Dosers, probes, Breeze fans, fan controllers, Mitras, and Doser 2 dosing pumps. Overall, I've had deep exposure to the brand.

I am delighted to be working for GHL as the USA sales rep and support provider. We recently moved into our US based warehouse in Connecticut and should be fully stocked very soon. It is my goal to provide the quality of customer service and support that one comes to expect from a high-end company. I look forward to continue building the brand, improving product availability, and most of all, being there for our customers.

I would also like to thank Michael from Aqua Digital for the support he has provided GHL customers throughout the years. Many times, he would reply to my questions over the weekend and even on holidays! His continued support during this transition is greatly appreciated.

If anybody needs product support, has questions, or anything at all, I can be emailed directly at:

Hi Vinny,

Good to see your introduction, it is going to be great working with you! Someone to take my burden from me ;) Can I pass you all the midnight emails? ;)

Welcome to the GHL club ;)

I look forward to working with you. Great intro. I have a question that I'm not sure has been answered or if you can answer. It's about the new make up of the company. What has changed and is michael hall still involved in the company. Just curious.

Hi there Vinny,
Nice to see the GHL USA support and sales on track.
I guess you have kept up to date on both forums and can jump in straight away.
I see you have already helped Hydrologist with his problems and it is nice to see.
Good luck with the job and look forward to seeing you service all those keen reefers out there!

And yep, Michael deserves a big round of applause in my book.
He has been very stead fast for the GHL product and has supported the various users above and beyond what is expected.:wavehand:

Although, I expect he is very keen to pass on the mantel and the responsibility of customer support to you, to ease his aching back and head!:)

Thanks everyone!

My involvement from here on is to continue to build the specialist research centre and laboratory market that we have been highly successful at and also to support the retail sector through www.aquariumelectronics.com this is already live but due to my recent European travels where I am now is not completely finished but will be in time for extra stock to arrive from Germany!

We will continue to support the dealer base we built up over 8 years of products they purchased through us as and when the dealers ask and our support to the end user globally will continue. I just won't be involved in supply of products to dealers this is Matthias's baby now, this is a big stress and cost relief to us and allows my company to concentrate on new emerging markets and products.

Retail of course is not what we are known for but in the last 6 months with less and less dealer stock holding end users were becoming more reliant on us and our stock so it made perfect sense to continue a path that was already being laid naturally, we also are so widely known for GHL it would have left a massive void. If or when GHL USA have built up their own client base and the end user is secure in supply at that time we will decide if we concentrate only on the research market but for now my concentration is to keep supply open for the end user that needs it and also not forgetting we have a warehouse full of stock! :))
