I would like to know why the 24$ extra shipping charge. If its weight then how much does this thing actually weigh?

Edit: The shipping is actually more like 49.05$ (I just added the item to my cart and looked at it)

Thanks for your patience, as I come to find out the reason for the additional special handling shipment cost, its because of the size of the box the reflectors come in. Unfortunately our photo on the website does not show or include the reflector as part of the kit. We have also come to find out that we have not received the reflectors for the kit from Geissman, so at this time we have decided to remove the kits from our site until we receive the reflectors for the kits. My purchasing team is currently working on getting that part from Geissman. I do apologize for the confusion. If you have any further question please do not hesitate to contact me

Thanks for the post, we are still working with the manufacturer on getting the reflectors in for the kits, we're in hopes it will not take to long. In answer to your question about the shipping, Yes the additional special handling fees will apply when the item become available.
