Gig QT question

It is a small rock. After 1 week in your HT, there should not be any die off still there. Less stress to the anemone is important. If he attached to the rock jut move the rock so you can put him exactly where you want him. Once he is off the rock, you can remove the rock if you want.

Sounds good. I think it may be just slime that came off the anemone that got stuck on the rock. but you are right the rock is too small to cause any real issues in DT.

I just did what I hope is the last water change and last cipro dose. The anemone is still staying inflated. Barring any surprises I plan on transferring it to DT tomorrow night instead of Monday. The last two water changes had been done using water from my DT as suggested by Minh. The temperature is the same in both tanks. So transition to DT should be ok.
I am ready to be done with this as I have gone through three cipro treatments since June 12th with three different anemones. Lots of labor, salt and water. Time for a break after this one.

I just put the gig in. Of course the clowns had to check it out right away. Haha.

The gig is doing very well. It ate some food today. I slightly overestimated the space I had in my tank not due to livestock but the size of live rock the large gig is attached to. It's making adding fish and corals a little problematic.
