^^ I'll add a comment to that as well, it was only after adding my mag that my hadonni began to move and then released.
I too am pretty certain allelopathy was the cause.

The gig was looking nice a big today so I grabbed another quick video. This thing keeps growing even without supplemental feeding. It is now 12" across and apparently loving the LED's.
BTW, the Spotcinctus clowns in the video have now started spawning (only a year after I got them as 1" fish). The third nest just hatched last night and I am going to try raising the larvae/fry for the first time.

One of these days I'll use something other than my phone to record video so I can try to get the colors correct.
