I want to get some general ideas of the best lighting for these anemones.
So if you have kept one with any success please give details. Here is mine I am hoping for success

Wattage: 400 watt mh
Depth: 12-14 inches of water bulb 12 inches from surface.
Hours: 8.5
Kelvin: reeflux 12000 k

I wonder if they need lower kelvin bulbs?

150 watt 14K Phoenix de on ~11 hours
Light 8" above water
Anemone 4" under the water.

I think that water flow is just as important as light with giganteas. A gentle to medium surge seems to be very important IME.

I have two vortechs in a 60 cube on a surge pulse so I feel that this is adequate, It definately moves one way then the next.

Trying to ride the waves from my controllable koralias. I think the controllalble koralias put the vortech to shame.
