Gigantea placement in mixed reef?

I plan to do the aqua scaping of my 100 gallon tank this weekend and wonder where the ideal place for a gig would be.

The tank is 24 tall with a footprint of 40 x 28.
The light would be up to 4 Kessil A360 (all E -series), possibly augmented with a MarsAqua light for at least a few hours (my last purple gig seems to love that light).
Straight over the gig I will place at least 1 N-model, maybe 2.

The gig in question is currently straight under an A360N, which is 14 inch above it with only 5 to 6 inch water above it.
I also noted that it doesn't like when the flow is too extreme.

Initially I planned to place the gig on the bottom of the tank but I'm a bit concerned It may not get enough light there (or later be shadowed by corals)

The alternative would be to create a place for it higher on the rocks.

Which would be the better choice?

If it was me, long term, I'd make a place up on the rocks, as close to the lights as possible. Just what I would do.

I'd put it on the bottom with its foot in between 2 rubble pieces of rock. That's where I have mine and it has never moved. That way when it grows to 12+" it won't be on top of the rocks killing all your corals. Mine is off to the far left side under a 360W and has been for 2 and a half years. My 2¢

I would make a pedestal of sorts where it's as close to the light as you wish and also somewhat centered away from any wall. This way it's kind of stuck there on the pedestal. I've seen several pictures of this and pretty much how the guy's with the big tanks with mixed reef do for their gigs, so they don't wander killing corals along the way. The pedestals look similar to a mushroom in design. Large flatish top and narrower stem.

They will attach to a crevice and will extend up and out. They will move a bit but with good light and nice current they will stay put. In my DT I have 3 gigs. Two upper part of the reef and one like lower light and current. The third one is the only one at the Rock-sand interface. The other two hide their foot in rock crevices.

My gigs have always preferred to be medium to high in my rock work. I'll usually plan where I'm going to place them and build an area in the rock work that I think is adequate.
