I just picked up a good looking Gigantea seemed to be healthy. I am on my 6th day and still hasn't eat anything. Last knight deflated almost looked dead today after lighting was on looked fine. Is this typical.
Thank You Greg

Unfortunately it is typical of a gigantea that isn't going to make it.
IME, a healthy gigantea rarely deflates much.
Once they start to deflate, they tend to do so more and more often until they stop inflating at all and then they start to decompose. This process may take a couple months or a week.

Some have had luck reversing this process by increasing the flow and placing small foods like mysis directly in the mouth.

mine did the same thing at first. I got it to eat by thawing out frozen shrimp from safeway and giving it about half of a frozen shrimp. Are the tentacles very sticky? if not then thats a bad sign. It should be hard to get it to let go of your finger if u touch it

Tenticls are stickey still wont eat.I try every day. Shrimp, silversides, mysis. Other anemones gobble up food instantley.

Phender I increased the flow this morning he was on the move looking for another spot thats a good sign,
