Gigantea

What is the recommended foods for a gigantea? I have one that is a bit sick from an overflow experience, and he's not eating silversides that I am giving him. He pulls them into his mouth, and then shortly ejects them.

I was thinking he might like something else?

Some gigantea owners feed theirs marine cuisine its san francisco bay brand. You can get it at petsmart in their freezer.

try shrimp. You can get just frozen shrimp from safeway and let it thaw in tank water then take off the shell and give it like half a shrimp. That always seemed to work. If it is in pretty bad shape just try giving it mysis shrimp.

If it's really stressed out you may want to avoid feeding it for a little while. Trying to eat and then rejecting food just uses more energy and stresses it more. Just a thought.

I feed Krill ocassionally, but mostly store bought SW fish(the kind you eat =)). Occasionally soaked in garlic extract. 1x a week.
