gigas keeps rolling over...??

I have a gigas that is atleast 10". had since 1/07. my question is this...
I know the incurrent siphon is supposed to be below the excurrent siphon. However, I think since my clam is so big and my tank is BB, it keeps rolling over to where the incurrent is above the excurrent. It's not rolling over on its side but rolling side to side. It does this everyday and I'm always putting it to where the siphons are supposed to be. Can the excurrect just stay below the incurrent w/ no problems to the clam? or does anyone have a solution to keep it from rolling over...?
thanks for your help

It doesnt really matter but it shouldnt be rocking back and forth. It may injure itself or cause an avalalanche plus it stresses the clam when you have to replace it everyday.

i think positioning is more important for the smaller tridacnids that use byssal thread to attach. your guy is more than big enough to rely on weight alone and his byssal hole has probably grown shut.

i say let him do what he wants :)
