Just like the post put out Friday, my Gigas is retracting its mantle (both sides, bottom half). Kind of shriveled, no discoloration. No sign of pests. The clam has been in the same spot for over a month. Opens and closes appropriately. It did fall a short distance into the sand (face first) sometime Thursday night and put him back Friday. This started Saturaday and is getting worse. All parameters are stable, well light and has done great for over a month. Do I take action or leave it be. Hard to say if the fall in the sand did internal damage. Nothing else has been changed in the tank. It does get fed DT although I keep getting bad batches so not every day. Thoughts? Don't want to make it worse doing a dip if not necessary. Again, still has good color and opens during day and closes during night.
