Glass tank manufacturers in the Midwest??

Does anyone know of other glass tank builders besides Glass Cages? Perhaps someone comparable to Miracles?? I've heard some people liking Planet Aquarium in Texas. What other tank manufacturers are you guys using?

Deep Sea Aquatics in Texas.
Got a great looking tank & stand from them.

I will tentatively second the Deep Sea Aquatics. I have an aquarium and stand on order from them. I have spoken with them on the phone and they are great to work with. They have also stated that they would like to increase their presence in the midwest. However, I don't have the tank yet so I don't have much to say. I will update this when it arrives in a week or so. I live outside Chicago and while there's no shortage of acrylic tank manufacturers, it is hard to find a quality glass maker. It's all Aqueon and Marineland out here.

I've had glasscages (twice), marineland, aqueon, oceanic, and all glass but that's taking it back old school. I think I will reach out to deep sea aquatics.

Tramboneplayer5 - how bad was shipping cost from Texas to Chicago?

I got the tank from my LFS, who ordered the tank through a distributor. The shipping was around $300. I also found it from an online store that charged slightly more and then gave free shipping, so the end cost was about the same. I didn't want to deal with online retailers for something this big so I went local, but the stores I found were:

I don't know anything about these two, so you may want to ask around to try to find out more about their reputation.

Did you get a tank yet? I have been waiting for 10 weeks now and still haven't heard from Deep Sea Aquatics. I like to think that it will be here any day now, but I am getting a little frustrated. I did order mine with some customization, so I expected it to take a little longer, but the initial estimate was 4-6 weeks.

Haven't gotten it yet. Still waiting to sell something else to buy the tank and not sure how long it will be. I could have an opportunity to go bigger as we're looking at moving into a bigger house which means more space

Do yourself a favor and check out coast to coast. They build TOP notch tanks not sure what your budget is. They have excellent workmanship

I think I'm aiming towards a deep blue professional tank 48"x24"x16". Just trying to see how it will fit into the budget as my wife and I just bought a house.
