Pretty cool idea with the PVC. Not natural by any means. But it's a clean and interesting look. I think it's also great to move frags around and see how they respond. Not to mention the flows going to be great. It's going to be interesting to see how they all grow in.
What a great idea. Did you think that up? I really like the "unnatural" look you have going. Personally I never cared for totally "natural" looking aquascapes.
I did something similar but much more bulky. I wish I would have thought of just aragonite glued on pipe like you did. I was going for the ribcage of a monster look.
check it out:
I came to the concept as my neighbour was sticking sand with superglue to some of his model creations. I've seen him mix and match different sands together and it looked quite cool. Since I am a plumber I was wanting to redo the plumbing in the return lines when the tank was empty. While standing in front of the plumbing section I had one of those moments where you get a crazy idea and almost say why did I not think of that!
I never knew if the concept would work or not but the result so far is satisfying.
Had steep learning curve with these frags.
Imaging dumping 40 frags in a brand new tank and not loosing any? So far I've lost none.
My Acros are doing great.
Monti and zoas not so great. Can't seem to please those two .My last tank was a zoa tank and that went very well.
I guess that I wished for an acro tank full of glow sticks and since it's heading that way I am pleased.
Not too bad for a no live rock set up. Even surprised myself along the way!!!!
