Gluing Rock

What works?

I use the the green n white puddy that i knead until it turns white then I press it onto the underside of the frag rock or plug. I then press it onto the host rock, but as the best horizontal stop become unavailable more angled and vertical positions are the only options available.

More and more these angled and vertical areas do not provide enough surface grabbing area for the frags.

IC gel works only if the frag is not mounted and is small.

Any ideas?

use larger amounts. i personally dont glue rock down, i just make sure its making contact with the rock under it in 3 places, this means it wont rock back in forth in the current.

Acrylic rods will work awesome. Drill the rock then attach them together. Its like LR Legos.

Use the 2 part aquamend and Super glue gel on each side. Ball the aquamend up and make to flat sides, put super glue on the flat sides and have those spots be the contact points with the rock.

I have not tried it yet honestly... BUT he did say they worked well, and all the pics on the site was made with it.
