As long as we don't have to count on Sweed in the super bowl. Here's hoping Hines is good to go by then.

Good thing he was hitting because Sweed sure as hell wasn't catching.

We chiropractors love big hits = $ in the bank. Ouch !!!! Hines' knee injury is going to be tough- if he plays it will be as a decoy. Suspect a medial collateral ( rehab or surgery) or medial meniscus ( surgery) injury. It is very cool that Fitzgerald who played at Pitt last year, will be facing the Steelers in his first year in the NFL.

Hines is missing one of the tendons in his knee, I can't remember what it is though.

I think Fitzgerald has been in the league for 3 or 4 years.

That Clark hit was insane, I don't think I have ever seen anything like that.
Yeah you could have had your TV off and heard that hit... we we're saying Clark probably thinks he's in Tampa already (after he was ok of course).

Think someone will get fined for that? I know the Raven's guy put his head down right before the hit, but I'm pretty sure it's the defender's responsibility not to lead with his head.

Yeah, our secondary has got their hands full with Fitzgerald. He is an incredible receiver. This is his 5th year in the league.

The hit Clark had on McGahee was clean IMO. Clark lead with his shoulder and it was just unfortunate. The only thing I think the league will consider is that it looked like Clark left his feet during the hit. It looked like McGahee was out when he was holding his hands in the air in front of him while laying on the ground. Almost like a fighter getting knocked out.

I think you can leave your feet to hit a ball carrier though. I think that rule about leaving your feet is for a defenseless receiver that doesn't have the ball.

True I forgot about the part of "defenseless receiver".

I agree with Polamalu though when he talked about the league being a sissy league. Not to ruin the mojo or anything, but that 15 yard roughing the kicker penalty was about the most rediculous penalty I think I've ever seen in my life. I understand trying to keep people from taking cheap shots and teeing off against kickers with only 1 leg on the ground or QB's but for God's sake, they're wearing helmets, not dresses, and last I checked, football was still a contact sport.

As for Fitzy, he scares me. Nobody seems to be able to stop him, and I'm not sure we have the pass coverage defense to stop him. Here's hoping Harrison and the boys up front can keep Warner from getting enough time to sling it down the field, because if he manages that, we could be in for a long night.

The roughing/running into the kicker penalty was ridiculous. The only contact was when the punter fell on his own and his foot came down on top of the Ravens.

He is missing the ACL in his right knee. It's amazing he can run and cut with out it.

Man- I am getting old- yes, Fitzgerald has been in the NFL for more than a few years now. Definitely a clean hit on McGahee by Clark. Nasty hit - not a good way to end the year for McGahee. So far- all reports say he is intact neurologically.
