Breams such as Scolopsis bilineatus and Pentapodus emeryii are interesting and relatively hardy fish that aren't at all common in tanks. They get some size, but don't get huge. They're diligent when it comes to stirring up the sand bed (as long as you don't mind a "dead" sand bed), so in that respect they are similar to goatfish, but much better suited to aquariums.
