I have no problem with them getting large.. From everything I've read, those numbers, like most, are the extremes.. The sizes that are normal according to white I've read thus far is somewhere in the range of 7 to 9 inches in most medium to larger systems(i have a180, which I consider medium)..
The main thing, as I have the animal now, is feeding and learning her habits.. I have tried feeding her, and I have yet to see her eat my mix, however, my gf started she did see her eat yesterday.. While swimming around. I am simply used to seeing extremely aggressive eaters. Even my little hawk is, and always has been an aggressive eater.. But it has only been 24 hours, so I am patient and hope for the best..
But I just sold a 10" male Mata(i think he was around 10 or so), and I have a decent sized naso, foxface, and growing pink tail.. So I'm fairly used to larger fish.. I just want to take care of her as well as I possibly can with finding it as much info as possible..
