gobies and bare bottom tanks

I am looking for experiences/opinions about keeping gobies in a bare bottom tank. Especially interested in the rainsford's goby but would like to hear about the others.

Any links to previous discussions would be nice as well. I just cannot catch the search function when it is not unavailable..

The tank has an established fuge and a fat six-line as the only predator...plenty of pods

Thanks

Gobies should have at least a thin layer of sand. Many feed from the fauna within or the bacteria on the granules.

Rainfordi supplement their diet on small micro fauna and hair algae.
