Hi reefers, I have the tank described below in my sig as my setup. I love gobies and I would love to get another one. I think this can only be done in a ten gallon tank with a YWG of the opposite sex or if a female than another female. I think I read somewhere that the brownish grey ones are always females. Is this true? Also are there any gobys that would live peacefully with my YWG? PLus breeding them would be fun!!! but only if nature took its coarse. Thanks

Neon goby should be fine with a watchman. I'm sure there are others as well (but not other shrimp gobies).

Edit - also read your sig - may be getting kind of tight in a 10g trying to get a 3rd fish in it. But neons at least are very small and no issues with clowns or other gobies (except other neons).

There is no way to sex watchman gobies. The coloration does not indicate sex. Even if you were to luck out and get a pair, a 10g might be too small... Even breeding pairs prefer to have some space to get away from each other IME.
