Goby and pistol

I recently baught a fish that I thought was Amblyeleotris aurora but it seems like it is Amblyeleotris yanoi. I got this fish to replace my ywg that I had for years with my candy cane pistol. They were a pair and so fun to watch. My q is will this goby pair with the pistol? Or should I keep looking for an aurora. Currently the the yanoi is in QT.

It should pair up just fine.
