goby not eating

i have a rainsford goby and at first i tried to feed him frozen brine shrimp and he wouldnt eat so after a little while of that i tried flakes and he wont eat that either

but i have had him for about 2 weeks and i havent eat anything
but he does pick at the sand and rocks

he looks healthy and is very colorful and isnt slim and i catch him going to the bathroom every once and a while

so he must be eating something

please help.

It took my yellow clown goby about 2 weeks to start eating. Every now and then i would see him picking at the rocks. What were they feeding him at the lfs?

yeah he picks at the rocks and sand

they fed him flakes(the same exact flakes i have)
