Going from standard 55 gallon tank to 260 gallon tank.

Nice job. Which Leds units did you end up with?

Mike, I'm using the IT2060 / 24" long with a PAR of 10" (370) 30" (120) fully adjustable, sunset and sundown, one cord for power, cloudy, manual, moon light and also will open a cold beer if you let it.

Wow, already measured the par! SPS time

Which degree optics did you get? I just changed about 20 of my leds that had 80's degrees to 40's to blast some of the sps in the middle of the tank.

Pictures of the coral in the new tank..

So far I lost 4 small pieces..

The LPS side. Can't get SPS until water chemistry is perfect.

Looks good. What do you think of your leds?

Great fixtures, insane colors on the zoas, sunset capabilities are awesome and fully adjustable from full sunset 20000k to 6000k moon lights and the PAR readings are acceptable BUT as far as growing SPS I have not give them a clear go.

Once I get me chemistry right I will work on growing SPS.. What I have noticed is that SPS that have been keeped on LED do better than SPS keeped on metal halides. Out of my 30+ frags that I grew on my old tank under metal halides more than half died and the ones that grew on LED still going of course the death was from a thousand things wrong with my new built been a new tank and not been fully cycle like my 3 year old tank.

Like they say LPS are the easiest to care BUT a SPS tank is harder but the most rewarding.

90 degree optics.. Getting 150 par at the bottom (42") from were the lights are now.

Your about where im at, maybe little more par than me.

SPS do best about 5-18" from top of water for me. But....I switched 1/4 of my 80 optics to 40s. Waiting for results
