Going green

With all of the changes that I've made to conserve energy. I am happy to say that for the first time in 10 years, my PG&E bill is under $300.00 this month ... The bills have been gradually lowering every month so the effort is paying off.

i saw that i would love to get my hands on a couple of those. I use reef builders as my home page they always have the latest and greatest.

I like the idea of LED but in my opinion, the right combination of LED colors has not yet emerged. Generally they seem to come in white and shades of blue and long term there are many reports of coral color shifting, with reds fading, greens paling and with fewer colors overall.

That Ecotech fixture is pretty cool and incorporates red and green LEDs which most other fixtures I've seen don't. They could be on to something there. At $750 per fixture, that could add up quickly over a longer tank.

Incorporating their pump action with the night mode is a nice touch. Ecotech seems to be continuing to find cool ways to separate reefers from their cash.
