What kind of somewhat cheap underwater camera is out there that I could purchase in Florida? I'm looking in the $0-$100 range, but a little higher isn't bad. I'm so excited and looking at these pics made me want to take some good pics.

Also, does anyone know what the regulations for collecting marine plants in the area, like for my refugium. Would I have to get a permit? We will be staying in Marathon and going snorkeling a few miles offshore from there.

We just got back from Hawaii, bought 2 reusable 35mm cameras for $12.99 at the drug store. I was VERY suprised and pleased with how good they actually worked. Make sure you get one with a flash though. I will try to get some pics up tonight.

They are pretty strict in the keys. Most of the time getting the plants require pulling it off of live rock, which in effect destroys it. When you find the plants in the sand beds or not attached, then you are allowed to take a certain number. You have to have a saltwater fishing license to collect.
