Going to Oahu, Hawaii in July, best companies and places to snorel/scuba?

Hey guys and gals,

I am heading out to Hawaii and am pretty sure I will be staying on the Island of Oahu instead of Maui. I wanted to go to Maui but it may be a bit to quiet for 2 weeks. I may end up going to both islands for a week a piece.

The question I have is what company would be the best to hire for a scuba/snorkel venture? Also, what are the best spots to snorkel and dive on Oahu and Maui?

Big Island mo bettah brah!- But as far as Maui , Molokini is a great dive. But for me its Kona side ! Red Hill and Pu'uhonua o Honaunau are incredible!!!

Sharks cove and Hanauma bay for snorkeling. They are both protected reefs with great fish, with alright coral. Also, try to go near the Hawaii Pacific University pier on the east side of the island, its right past the "blow hole" wave area. There are hige coral heads and great fish, just a little bit off the beaten path. These locations are all on Oahu.

If you want to go with a scuba center your best bet is Island divers. Make sure you dont dive with reef trekers.

Ocean Concepts has boat dives everyday from their dive center in Waianae. Water is generally calmer on the leeward side of the island, and there are several dives to choose from.
