I have a mated pair of Gold Stripe Maroon Clowns. I added a cole tang last Thursday and noticed yesterday that the small male has gone missing. I noticed last week on Monday that the small male was not in his usual spot near the mushrooms but further down the tank which I thought was strange. The larger female is also now acting strange and hanging out a lot behind the rocks at the back of the tank. Do you think maybe the male is with a clutch of eggs that the female laid in the back of the tank, or do you think the female is acting strange because the male has died. Before he went missing, the male was eating and very fat. Any thoughts?
