Gold Stripes spawn

I've had a pair of GSMs that have spawned for years, usually about 2-3 weeks apart. Yesterday they spawned and the nest from their last spawn hatched out last night. 2 spawns in 8 days, the one that hatched last night was the size of a baseball, will see tomorrow how big this 2nd one is.
Anyone ever experience this?
