Golden dwarf moray question.

I recently set up a 40 breeder mixed reef with one mean and old damsel. I have a screen top for the tank already and I have the opportunity to get a Golden dwarf moray for a great price. My question is, will the damsel harass the eel? I ask because my damsel is quite aggressive and I don't want to have to get rid of either one.

As bad as I hate to, I need to keep the damsel. My daughter loves that damn fish, I kinda have a soft spot for it also. I realize the eel may also eat the damsel but at least it won't be my fault her fish is gone :lmao:

Just wanted to say that i myself just purchased an Golden Dwarf Moray Eel, i have an screen top as well. Well the third night it escaped even with the screen top on. It has maybe an 1 cm gap or less around the internal protein skimmer, which it used to escape. So make sure your cover is completely sealed! About the damsel i'm not sure, but i have mines with an cleaner shrimp, two porcelain crabs, a bunch of hermits and snails. It's friendly towards everything i have so far, but no fishes yet.

Thank you for the advice. I do have a couple of spots where there are small gaps. I will work on getting them covered.
