Just thought I'd update...after five days of antibiotic soaked live brine as her only food, she's made a huge improvement. TBH am very surprised she made it as her belly continued to get huge even after she stopped feeding ?!

That said, she looks great atm with no signs of bloat at all?!

What kind of antibiotic? I currently have a flame angelfish that seems bloated.

Really glad to hear it, way to go! So it seems a bacterial infection can cause bloat? That's a new one for me. Must be an infection of the GI tract maybe?

+1 on the antibiotic used.

I was reading all of the mentions of people dosing PraziPro & Cupramine and remember reading another thread about the poor results from people using both together and here is the thread. Maybe this may be a factor in "some" cases.
