Goldflake vs Mini Max Anemone

Has anyone every had a Goldflake Angel that picked on a Mini Max Anemone?

My little Goldflake declared war on my newly acquired and now departed mini maxi. Basically he/she killed it. Kept pulling it out and nipping at the edges of it; till it wouldn't attach and lost it's color.

I have other mini max's in the tank along with rock anemones and he/she doesn't bother them but this one.....either it tasted really good or it hated it.

Just curious if anyone has heard of this happening before.

Large angels will pick at and eat anemones. The only way i have seen an angel not pick on an anemone is if there are clownfish protecting it.

Ya but he is still an angel They are pickers by nature.

Mine does it with NEW acans, scollies etc. all established prior to him are left alone
