Gone for two weeks....what did I come back to?!

I was down in Houston for two weeks and as expected the tank is having a few problems. Hopefully I can get some advice to get it all straightened out.

As some of you may have read right before I left two of my clams had pinched mantle (I think). My large Dersa pulled thru and looks great!! My smaller 4" Squamosa did die, problem number one. Which I believe may have aided in the following problems. I now have hair algae popping up all over in the DT and sump and I've never had hair algae (its short, green, and fuzzy). And I have cyano popping up all over in the DT and sump. And I know it wasn't caused by overfeeding because I bought an autofeeder. I did it hoping to prevent overfeeding and algae and I still got the algae! :(

Next, my numbers.

Temp - 80.1
pH - 7.8 (checked with probe and Salifert, before the lights came on it was at 7.3)
Salinity - 1.025
Calcium - 620 (Tested twice and I tested the water for my water change and it read 380, so the kit is good)
Mg - 1215 (started dosing to bring it up, using Magnesium Chloride and Magnesium Sulfate mix from BRS)
Alk - 8.6 dKH
Nitrate - ~5-10
Phosphate - not detectable on Salifert kit
I also do a continuous top-off of strictly limewater.

The one positive, which I was surprised at, my sunset monti, which was almost dead, is now doing great!!

Any advice to get this mess straightened out?!?

Hmm your numbers look pretty good..is the temp a little high for your system? it's been warm and sunny here last few days,is the house warm, and was the tank getting sun?

My temp is always right at 80 +/- .5, even with the warm weather. The tank didn't get any direct sun light. The tank is right next to my front door, which when left open the tank will get direct sunlight in the afternoon, but I made sure it was kept closed.

sounds like the Squamosa would have died even if you hadn't gone away.
Nuisance algae is easy enough to clean up. You should be happy the sunset Monti is doing better!

True, true and true!!

Any thoughts on why my Ca is thru the roof?? I don't even dose anything.
